A highly finished plein air painting from my favorite place to paint. This is Hermit Rock at Land's End in San Francisco. It's a hike to get to the beach and you are racing against the tide to get some thing down before you are forced out or trapped on the rocks. I love this place.

This painting was shown at Studios 11 in Oakland In September 2023 for my solo show, Floating World.
